A downloadable game for Windows

Game made by Psycho_666 (aka Pete) as an entry for the Extra Credits Holiday Game Jam 2018.

The general idea was to make a small rhythm game about elfs saving presents and package material from the Grinch and his buddies in different time periods and sending them back to present times. There was an idea to make a tiny minigame of packaging the presents to make them more presentable. That quickly went out the window.

The final result is what I could code in 3 days - a small rhythm game about presents gathering and grinch punishing. It's functional, but extremely unpolished.

Enjoy and happy holidays...

When Compiling, don't use package as installer, because people are more hesitant to go through the trouble of installing things. Just package as zip. Goodjob Finishing anything in that time. I joined the Extra Credits Game Jam too. It doest feel like enough time but hey I saw ur posts on the gamemaker forums and made me feel a bit better about how hard it was for me to get stuff done for the jam too .

Im not really sure how to do that in GameMaker...

Other than that it's more than enough time as long as the project scope ain't too large. And rhythm games are large scope.

Thank you for playing my game ;)

Package as Zip

if this option doesn't appear go to

Preferences --> Windows --> Default packaging type

set to "Show Dialog"
